“Our kids love going to this school…”

Our family has been fortunate enough to have been part of La Casita Preschool. Ms. Teri is warm, loving, and a truly great educator. Not only have our children thrived at La Casita, but us parents have learned a thing or two as well! Our kids love going to this school and as parents, we can see that they are having a really wonderful learning experience. This school nurtures a love of learning that continues to grow as our littles develop into their own individuals. The kids do different activities and work on developing their own skills no matter what level they are at. The school also helps the children develop socially and emotionally which is truly important at this age and something we really appreciate as parents.

Ms. Teri is very communicative and takes the time to address your concerns as a parent and never minimizes them. She does a great job of listening and implementing solutions. She does a great job at keeping the families involved and creating a true sense of community for the families attending this fantastic school.

We couldn't have picked a better school for our littles and are so grateful for Ms. Teri and her phenomenal program at La Casita. -Jacqueline

“They are family to us…”

When I asked my daughter Yeshi what La Casita meant to her she said “they are family to us.” La Casita is a beautiful community and place for young ones to grow as humans and learners. La Casita provided an incredibly strong foundation that set Yeshi up to thrive in Elementary school.

Her last year at La Casita, during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Teri focused a great deal on mindfulness, responsibility, and understanding emotions. This focus helped support our young ones during a time of immense uncertainty and change. Today Yeshi uses these skills: taking a mindful moment when she’s feeling overwhelmed; utilizing deep breaths to calm herself; and openly expressing her feelings and empathy for others with ease.

I truly believe that if all of our young ones had the opportunity to learn and be nurtured in a community like La Casita the world would be a more joyful and loving place. - Amelia B.
